Who do you call to stop collection calls made to your job?

I am late on a bill but I have heard that collection offices cannot call your job. They call me 8-12 times a day! Obviously I realize the bill is late and I have talked to them about it and have asked them not to call my work, what can I do to stop the calls until I get the bill paid?

yeah legally they can clal you up to 15 times in a day, it sucks! what you have to do, is either pay the bill, take your phone number off of your bill, or write a letter to the collection agency requesting that you cease and desist the calls.
