Xtal Works

i have all kinds of transmitters and recievers for rc planes. can i use any xtal to make them work,?

i have tried everthing,i have matching tx and rx x-tals but i cant get them to work

As long as the radio and receiver along with the crystals are on the same frequency, theyll work.
