Water Cooling?

I have a Dell Inspiron 530s with an Intel Core 2 Duo. I am considering water cooling but I am worried my psu isn’t powerful enough to handle it. Also, this would be my first experience with water cooling. So how do I find one that would fit my system. And do I need a special powersupply for it to be installed? Again I have always worked on PCs that have fans, so I don’t know much about water cooling.
Oh yah, I am planning on overclocking.

On your particular system, setting up water cooling would be difficult, unless you’re willing to void your warranty and modify your case to support the water tubes, blocks, and stuff.

For a water cooling system, you’ll need a pump, reservoir, radiator, some tubes, and a water block. You can either buy these individually, or buy them as a kit. A good website for kits and components is Xoxide – http://www.xoxide.com/watcoolkit.html

To check and see if a particular kit will work on your setup, just read its specifications. It will tell you the CPU it was intended to be used on, and how much power it requires to operate. In this case, you want a kit that will work with your Intel CPU.

You don’t need a “special power supply” to get water cooling to work. Most of them just require a connection to your electrical jack or power supply.

This unique cooling technology Freus, not to be confused with a swamp cooler. Although water is used to aid cooling, rub on the condensing coils rather than pads.

The cooling unit condensate is a residential application system coolers divided 250 tonnes are already used in commercial buildings. Think of this technology as a mini-refrigerator for residential use.

The units of evaporative water cooler air conditioners split system has a number of advantages over air cooling units. Water removes heat from the condenser coils far more efficient than air. This reduces the temperature of the compressed refrigerant R-22, which in turn reduces the workload of the scroll compressor. Not only will last much longer than the compressor, there is only minimal loss of cooling efficiency when the outside temperature exceeds 100 degrees.

Typical air units cooling can lose up to 25% efficiency at the same temperature.

How much can you save with a water cooling unit for condensation?

Charles Mullin, a casino worker who lives in North Las Vegas is also unique. So every electricity bill comes from your paycheck only. So they changed the air conditioning system in its 1,500 square-foot home to a cooling unit condensate.

"Before Installing I did the thermostat at 75 to 78 degrees to try to keep my electric bill down, "he said." I tested the new system at 65 degrees – felt like a cupboard in the flesh. My bill came to $ 86. That's about a 45 percent savings and the house was cooler.

Mullin told his friends about units and the savings he has seen. He assumed that the system Freus repaid in about two years.

Richard Waite, president of Hal Mechanical, plumbing Mr. Mullin AC cools, said they are made specifically for the desert climate.

"The only extra is needed to switch to an old drive air conditioning for a new line is cooled by one to run a water line to it. The unit has an automated system, similar to a toilet tank, keeping the water at the correct capacity. The system also turns itself to avoid calcium buildup.

Due to the almost constant, the capacitor size needs to vary due to weather areas such as air-cooled units. The Freus is installed in much the same way a cooled condenser air and has the unique ability to service multiple air handling. This provides the space saving convenience of housing two or three compressors (up to 10 tons in total) in a single cabinet.

Jim Kilby of Green Valley, a casino management professor, replaced his 10 year old air conditioning units, una 5-ton and one 3-ton, two water-cooled capacity of approximately the same. Imagine their electricity bills dropped by a third.

"Hotels have been using this technology for years," Kilby said. "When you think about it, water does a better job of cooling air air. It just makes sense. "

If you call them evaporative water coolers or water cooled condensing units, this mini version of the 250 tons of refrigeration is sure to revolutionize the cooling of the desert.
