2003 Dodge Ram 1500 – Tow electrical connector – no voltage to left turn signal or brake light?

I checked the trailer with another vehicle, all lights work. All lights on the truck work good (head/tail lights, turn signals, brake lights, etc.). I checked for voltage at the towing connector on the truck. No voltage to left side turn signal or brake light; tail light OK. Could this simply be a fuse or something more problematic?
