One of the most wonderful and interesting branches of electronics is avionics. Avionics represents AVI ONICS-electr-tion. The electronic equipment used on board to pilot the plane is called avionics. Avionics include communications and navigation systems, autopilots and electronic management (FMS), etc. These systems use embedded computers inside them. Early Radio telephone systems and valves were replaced by radio systems transistors.
