Accidently dropped a piece of my Vent-mount GPS down the vent that it was attached too. How to get it out?

The small plastic piece and the spring from the back of the GPS mount unit popped off, and slid right down the vent. I can’t see it, or fish it out with a long pair of forceps.
Is there any easy way to remove the vent and fish it out?
2005 Honda Accord sedan, if that helps. Car is due to go to the dealer for service soon, but don’t want to pay a small fortune to have it done if it’s simple.

unless you what to tear apart the dash, it’s gone

Any homeowner with an attic knows there are some challenges to keep the space under the roof. Penthouses are known to be the ideal place for mold, roof rot and other structural problems to occur. In addition to ensuring that the area is well ventilated, there is also the need to ensure that air circulates around and out of space. This is where an attic exhaust comes into play.

Ceiling fans are relatively easy to install. If the existing wiring to code to support the extraction fan power, the hardest part of the work is completed. The attic ventilation fan must be located as an insert or at least near a ventilation area. The idea is to create the flow of air from the outside as needed and distributed throughout the space by the action of the blade of the attic ventilation fan. In order to allow easy movement of air from the attic space, it is important to ensure you have adequate ventilation. Just as your attic fan ventilation needed open to get fresh cooler air in the attic, there must be a way for the hot air escaping from space. Make sure that roughly opposite your attic has some type of exhaust ventilation to allow escaping, either smooth ridge vents or soffit vents (located under the eaves) that are not blocked with insulation.

An alternative is to install an attic exhaust that makes the roof assembly. This works especially well if you have a tile roof and openings have excess plastic from the ceiling. With this type of fan, should ride as near the top of the roof as possible and as close as possible off the ventilation, which act as pathways for air heat escaping into space.

Ceiling fans can help keep down the temperature in your attic, and help prevent mold and mildew that often accompany areas with little or no airflow. For suggestions on what type and size of attic exhaust is right for your home, check out your options and shop for your home local.
