Why is it when we see Astronauts working outside the Space Station the background is totally Dark? No Stars?

The Pictures and Images of our Astronauts and Russian Cosmonauts working outside their Space Station show a Dark Black Background. Much like a Black Curtin had been drown in back of them. Or possibly deleted. I know that in Government papers things that are Secret are regularly BLANKED OUT. Is that what is happening or what? It would seem that without the Atmosphere in the way to cloud the things we see from earth to the Heavens. We should be able to see the Universe more clearly. As opposed to not at all. But The Images are very clear when taken without People in the Pictures. Then we see Stars the Milky Way Ect.

the images in things like the hubble telescope take minutes or even hours of exposure to get the high quality image.

the pictures taken of the astronauts are usually a video camera, or a short exposure film.

The sun also block out a lot of the stars because it is so bright. Usually the astronauts are in the sunlight, which drowns out the background light of the stars. Think of when you go camping. Stars don’t appear right as the sun sets. the sun has to set, and be down for about 30 minutes in the twilight. that is when their is enough shadow to allow you to see the stars. Same process.

Can you believe gas prices even today? It's crazy! I feel I'm going to buy my car at all times every time I fill the gas tank times.
