How do I get my computer scanner working?

I have a Brother MFC 210C (4 in 1) scanner/fax/copy/printer that has been working great until I accidentally uninstalled or deleted it. Please tell me in a very simplistic and basic way the steps to check it and or get it running again. I need to use it ASAP for a school project. Thank you!

Power on the Brother and remove the USB cable from the unit. Now begin a fresh install and re-connect the USB cable only when the software asks you to.

Let it complete the setup. REBOOT the computer

Windows will tell you it found new hardware. Go in the START menu and start the scanning software for your Brother. Under FILE menu, select scan.

If you are using photostop or other 3rd part software, go in the File menu and select TWAIN as the driver. Then SCAN. THat’s it.
