I agree with everyone else that the features are good and should do you well. My concern would be that you evaluate what and how you are going to be using the scanner. Primarily Slides, Negatives, Pictures or Text and align your purchase to your need. Of interest also would be if you plan to do any Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Scanning as a package like OmniPage might prove to be incredibly beneficial.

For High Volume you might want to consider a Automatic Sheet Feeder.
