how do i change the scanner res for a Kyocera km-1650?

I need to change the scanner res for a Kyocera km-1650, but the retarted users threw out the instructions. Does anyone know how to change dpi for the scanner?

If the online button is lit press it to turn it off, then press menu and scroll with the arrow keys…….
