The Premium Temple Touch Thermometer, a new, enhanced, non-invasive device that uses groundbreaking technology to accurately measure temperature on the forehead and underarm in just six seconds, is now available nationwide at all Walgreens® stores and online at Walgreens.com for $29.99.
The Walgreens® Premium Temple Touch Thermometer delivers clinically accurate core body temperature in only six (6) seconds by gently touching the thermometer to the temple. Because of this sensitivity, it is ideal for use on a sleeping infant or child, and is a preferable alternative to common digital stick thermometers. This version of the Temple Touch thermometer can also measure temperature under the arm, a point on the body frequently recommended by pediatricians as a safe and accurate place measure a baby’s temperature.
Among its premium features are:
- Full screen backlight display
- Memory recall
- An overdose protection timer that alerts the user when it is safe to give another medication dose
- A fever alert which causes the display to light up red to indicate a fever reading, and green if the temperature reading is normal
- Ability to display temperature in Fahrenheit° or Celsius°, according to the user’s preference
The proprietary technology behind all Temple Touch Thermometers is so revolutionary that it has formed a new category in the thermometer market– conductive forehead thermometers. The product uses Medisim’s patented R.A.T.E.™ (Rapid, Accurate, Temperature Establishment) technology which provides accurate detection of the core body temperature using conduction. Other temple and forehead thermometers currently on the market, such as scanners or strips, can be influenced by ambient or skin temperature conditions resulting in incorrect readings.
The Premium Temple Touch Thermometer and the Mini Temple Touch Thermometer are manufactured by Medisim Ltd. For more information on Temple Touch thermometers, please visit www.TempleTouchThermometer.com or www.Walgreens.com.

The Mobile World Congress (MWC o) caused many mobile phones, including notices of interest from each of the top-3 leading manufacturers.
Sony Ericsson does a good job of making themselves the stars of the show – or more specifically phones. The main attraction of these is obviously the XPERIA X1, a new Windows Mobile smartphone fantasy 3 "touchscreen.
Surprisingly, the device easier for consumers to highest sales potential snuck with far less fervor and almost unnoticed was the G900, the second and most powerful in a new series of compact smart phone use environment.
Ease of use is usually not assigned to a feature in all smartphones Sony Ericsson, but they are clearly looking to manufacture devices with this kind of power, but with more flexibility to make them more accessible to the average consumer.
The clearest indication of the intentions of Sony Ericsson is in the design of the G900 (which itself is almost identical to the G700.) The Sony Ericsson G900 reminds me a little of the Nokia 6300 or closer to home, the Sony Ericsson K610i in the design, but that's where the similarities end, as this phone is far ahead in terms of available features, some of which have not been seen in high-end mobile phones to date.
The Sony Ericsson G900 runs on the latest Symbian operating system, and the fact that he manages to maintain a thickness of up to only 13 mm completely hidden under capabilities.
Connectivity is typically higher than the range-through support 3G, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, GPRS and Wi-Fi.
Undoubtedly the most interesting aspect G900 is the 2.4 "touchscreen that was added to negate the need for keys on the front of the phone. This helps in the integration of one-touch media communication system performance on the first page.
A particularly interesting benefit of having a touchscreen on a phone motive of this type is how the software has been adapted for the benefit of imaging possibilities. In the case of the G900, when taking photos with camera 5 megapixels (autofocus and image stabilization are present), the user can select the precise focus point of the image by tapping the area corresponding screen. This is something that has not been seen before and if implemented the right way will definitely be one of the main points during the advertising campaign inevitable.
Protection for the camera lens comes in a very unusual way by Sony Ericsson in the G900. The top of this bar phone is it slid upward to extend the total height of the phone, while simultaneously revealing the camera lens and flash LED.
The Sony Ericsson G900 comes with 160 MB of internal memory and also support rapid fading Sony Ericsson Memory Stick Micro M2 format. A music player also comes with the G900, along with an FM radio with RDS and a business card scanner through the digital camera.
The opaque and functional aspect aside, the Sony Ericsson G900 is a top of the range mobile phones that are not necessarily devoted adequate competition with smartphones, but it has some unique features, in particular the appearance of the manual focus 5 megapixel camera through the touch screen if it works as they say, this is a fantastic point of this phone.
