Scanner Charger

I have lost the 12v converter for a scanner. Can anyone tell me if a 12 v battery charger might do for it?

12 volts battery charger is a bit higher than 12v- its 15 or 16 volts. in some cases it may work but don’t try it.

should you find a converter that outputs 12V@2Amps, be sure that the polarity is correct.
near the dc input of the scanner, notice the circle with plus and minus signs
this should match that of the converter.

You have to take special care of your battery so your camcorder will have a longer life. Please remember that battery life is much more short in a cold environment. Therefore, you should avoid, as far as possible, recording in a cold environment is not the battery efficiency is reduced.
