Is there a good/reliable online source to get book/novel summaries and analysis?
I need something a little more in depth than those old cliffs-notes. Also, I need something that has more to offer than just google-ing any old page. Something free. Something in detail that has lesser known books as well.
The two books I need this for are more well known:
(1) Reviving Ophelia
(2) Tuesdays With Morrie
I need this for a night class, but my books just shipped to me today. Dang media mail.
Any ideas yahoo users?
Well, there’s summary and there’s more detailed than Cliff’s Notes. They’re not the same thing. If you want more detailed than Cliff’s Notes, you read the book and take your own notes.
If you want just a summary, look the books up on Barnes & Nobel.com. Scroll down the page for the book, and the Overview tab gives you a synopsis. You can read editorial and customer reviews, which often have summaries as part of the reviews.
