Does anyone know what procedures, forms, requirements, licensing, applications or paperwork they are using that allows the event company to rent the facility, allow smoking inside, serve booze and food? Sounds not only like a great party but a way to enjoy one of life’s great pleasures AND circumvent the Facists in Springfield.
Have you read the Illiniois smoking statute? My guess is that your answer is to be found right there.
Maybe there’s a known fine of, say $5000, and Cigar Aficianado thinks it’s worth the money.
