nobody would care whatsoever. it is because the Pats are so good, for so long. There are plenty of teams that have done that-pats just got caught.

While many questions surround receiving corps Oakland Raiders' wide, the tight end position is in good hands, thanks to Zach Miller, who proved to be one of the favorite targets for quarterback JaMarcus Russell a year ago and their relationship expected to flourish further during the coming season.

For a signal transmitter and developing young, with a tight confidence is one of the options more beneficial in the air. Miller has proven extremely reliable during his first two NFL seasons and broke last year with Russell's center. Miller reeled in 56 passes in 2008, improving on a solid rookie campaign that saw him compile 44 grabs.

Although Miller has progressed faster than expected, there are areas that can show improvement. Miller has only four career touchdown receptions entering his third season and the mark of a tight big is your success in the red zone. With Russell Miller and increasingly comfortable near the goal line, expect to improve their performance within the enemy's 20-yard line.

Behind Miller, the Raiders have additional options at tight end. Backup strong incoming freshman Darrell Brandon Myers could become suitable options second and the veteran Tony Stewart offers an experience in the position. The use of multiple tight ends is becoming increasingly popular in the NFL.

Along with a group capable tight ends, Oakland has three runners who can catch the ball outside the line of scrimmage. Justin Fargas, Darren McFadden and Michael Bush have totaled more 20 catches in a season during his career. Using the tight ends and running backs in the passing game should help immensely as a youth exits the Raiders attempts to find his identity as the season progresses.

Oakland classified air assault in last place in the league last year, averaging just 150 yards per game. Every aspect of the offense have to do your part to improve that number, including the offensive line, runners and receivers. Nevertheless, the tight end position has been a strong point for an offensive unit that is fighting for air in recent years and is expected to flourish once again this season.
