my boyfriend has a 1990 honda crx. he has a cd player. it doesnt pick up radio.what does it need? suggestions?
Did he instal the cd player himself??
if so he probably forgot to plug the antena into the back of the cd player. or didnt do it right..
all he has to do is pull the CD player out and look at the back to see if its connected, usually the antena cord had a metal piece at the end for you to plug it in.

Honda SSM
X-bone frame (yellow) used in the S2000 chassis construction.
Presented at the 1995 Tokyo Motor Show Motor, Sport Honda prototype model study was the design studio for the production of S2000. The MSE was a rear-drive roadster powered by a 2.0 L (122 cu in) 4-cylinder Online. He offered a rigid X-bone frame that said Honda improved the rigidity of the vehicle and collision safety. The hood was aluminum and the car had 50-50 weight distribution.
The SSM unchanged in many automotive programs for several years, hinting at the possibility of a production version. Honda announced later the production version of the MSE. Continuing the tradition of the company's 1960 S500, S600, S800 and roadster, the new vehicle was the name S2000.

The S2000 was introduced in 1999 for model year 2000 and was given the designation of the chassis of AP1. It had a front engine, rear-drive layout with power delivered by a cc 1997 (122 cu in) F20C line-VTEC 4-cylinder DOHC producing 237 hp (177 kW) to 250 PS (184 kW) and 153 ftlbf (207 Nm) to 22.2 kgm (218 Nm ) the torque as a function of target market. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and the Torsen limited slip differential. The Honda S2000 was able to the claims, the performance "level in the world" for a 2-liter naturally aspirated.
2004 AP1 S2000 AP2 and 2000 AP1 model has OEM lip abovehe front, side wings and rear spoiler.
Features include a double-wishbone independent suspension, electric power steering and spring roll integrated. 16 in (41 cm) with wheels Bridgestone Potenza S-02 tires were standard. The compact and lightweight engine, mounted entirely behind the front axle, allows the S2000 for a 50:50 front / rear weight distribution and lower rotational inertia. A canvas roof of electric drive with standard internal fabric lining. Honda available an aluminum hardtop for additional cost.
The 2001 model was largely unchanged, but Honda updates the radio and added a digital clock the dashboard. For the 2002 model year, suspension settings were revised and plastic rear window was replaced by a glass unit incorporating an electric defroster. Other updates include slightly revised taillights, an upgraded radio, and a revised engine control unit.

The AP-2 also includes the introduction of a larger version of the F20C to the North American market. Designated F22C1, stroke lengthened engine, increasing its displacement to 2,157 cc (132 cu in). At the same time, the red line was reduced from 9,000 rpm to 8,000 rpm with a cut to 8,200 rpm, with the mandate for the longest trip of the pistons. The maximum torque increased 6% to 162 ftlbf (220 Nm) at 6,500 rpm while the energy production was the same 237 hp (177 kW) at 7,800 a lower rpm. In connection with its introduction of F22C1, Honda has also changed the transmission gear ratios by shortening of the first four gears and lengthening the last two. Another change was the inclusion of a valve to delay the release of the clutch. The 2008 model was the first time the S2000 was offered more than a trim level in the United States. Besides the base model, Honda offers a theme-oriented version of the S2000, distinguished by reduced weight, fewer amenities, and a claimed increase in performance. The S2000 Club Racer made its world debut at the New York International Auto Show on April 4, 2007. Changes to the CR includes a lower rate steering rack, stiffer suspension and all new tires Bridgestone Potenza RE070 ", widened the rear 245/40R-17 a 255/40R-17. A revised body kit, which includes a redesigned front lip, rear bumper, spoiler and large, the wind tunnel were tested and seek to reduce the standard rate of 70-80% lift. The power folding fabric roof was removed and replaced with a reinforced chassis topped with a barrel lid, while the hard top, optional on other models, it became a standard feature in the Czech Republic. Finally, in an effort to reduce weight and lower center of gravity, spare wheel and air conditioning was omitted and music were offered only as options. Net savings in weight without additional hardtop was 90 pounds (41 kg) in relation to the standard model. The engine of the S2000 CR was unchanged in the standard setting.

The price increased to U.S. $ 34,695 to the seat base and U.S. $ 36,695 CR for garnish.
A variant of the Republic Czech, called Type-S, was released in Japan. The Type-S keeps the convertible top instead of aluminum hard-top of the CR, and used the standard Bridgestone tires RE050A S2000 CR instead of RE070 is updated. The chief designer of the S2000, Shigeru Uehara, said that the CR was somewhere between the current Type-S and S2000 which is a Type-R would been the same.
S2000 production ceased in June 2009. Plans for a successor S2000 were discarded following the crisis of the automotive industry, 2008. To commemorate the production run of the S2000, Honda offers a special variant called S2000 Ultimate Edition for the European market, and a similar edition GT 100 variant in the United Kingdom. These editions feature a removable hardtop, Grand Prix white paint scheme, red leather interior and numbered plates.
