Nascar has faced some criticism from a lot of things over the last decades. We attribute the criticism to the popularity of NASCAR. Moreover Nascar's environmental impact has led to criticism, there are other technical reasons. One reason is the oval shape of most of the Nascar racing circuit. Enthusiasts conduction have severely criticized the difficulty of these courses from the race compared with the much harder to turn and turn the courses of the Formula 1 race. The penalties and fines levied by NASCAR drivers for their use of foul language in the media have also been a source of criticism against it.
