Question on pre-amplifier and amplifier to stereo system?

I have 1 pre-amplifier and 2 amplifiers for my stereo. I only have 1 line out on the pre-amp. How would connect the 2 other amplifiers without splitting the signal? Thanks for any help on this!

Well, you HAVE to split the signal.

You could try using a standard “Y” RCA cable splitter available at Radio Shack for a few bucks.

The general rule of thumb is that this will degrade the quality somewhat – but the questions is will it be noticeable. If this is for a car, then don’t worry about it. The road noise will overpower any distortion you create.
