What does a power capacitor do for my system. I have already got one just not sure what it does any how do i connect it all up ?
I am thinking you have subs,otherwise you would not need a capacitor.A capacitor store some kind of voltage and feeds your system whenever it draws power from your battery,for example when your bass hits ,sometimes your amp trips or somtimes the lights on your amp dims,a cap would prevent this but only on one condition if your battery is good(not weak)and your alternator is in properly working condition.Once you get your cap hook up to your system,you will defintely hear a sound improvement in your system especially your bass.Its quite easy to install ,what you do is hook it the negative(ground) side on the cap to the black wire(ground) which hooks up to your amp and hook the positive side of the cap to the positive wire from the battery.

On energy today "-challenged 'business environments where demand is beginning to exceed supply and costs are increasing higher, heads of companies are seeking alternative sources of expected backup power protection to strengthen the power supplies uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and provide a continuous supply of electricity during network outages.
The main criteria for deciding which of the alternatives to choose are usually: the limitations of space, location, costs, rates and application load. Diesel generators, in particular, require dedicated space away from protected loads and areas of work, plus space for fuel storage. They are often housed in purpose built enclosures to permit Planning should be granted and sometimes this can be a challenge in primary urban areas where building and planning restrictions may exist. The question of costs can often prevent-reaching alternatives like fuel cells, which can overcome some of the difficulties associated with diesel generators, but at a price. Batteries for UPS: UPS batteries today are typically sealed lead acid and maintenance-free with a lifetime of five years. As they rely on a chemical process that are prone to deterioration and the speed at which this happens is dramatically affected by ambient temperature and the number cycles of loading / discharging the battery has to perform during his lifetime.
A battery pack 'is a self-contained device electro-chemical that can store electricity for later use. A UPS battery set has a number of battery blocks connected in series in a "chain", or the number of channels in the battery.
Midfielders: are energy storage devices based on the principle kinetic energy, whereby a motor-generator is used to turn a mass at high rpm in vacuum friction bearings within the assembly plant cabinet. For small supplies uninterruptible power that can be used instead of a set of batteries, to reduce the potential discharge of the battery during the current momentary power failures. The amount of energy that can be stored depends on the active material used and the design of capacitors.
The energy in a capacitor is quickly available. You can extend the life of a UPS battery (if used in conjunction) with the bike's battery for the inhibition momentary interruptions or small (most of the power outages last less than five seconds). Super capacitors are also happy to operate in -30-45 temperatures varying degrees, but are expensive compared to UPS batteries.
While generators remain the source most popular backup power in applications for uninterrupted power supply, there are alternatives, which may be more relevant and appropriate in certain cases. Where planning permission not be granted for housing external generator, for example, a fuel cell can be an ideal alternative. Flyers can also be an option viable as an alternative source of power protection for large power UPS systems.
