How do I install my Sonys First Step Guide from the included CD onto my Mac?

I was reading thru the Operators Guide and it said to Copy “First Step Guide (PDF)” stored in the desired language in the [FirstStepGuide] folder, to your computer.
I found an English version, dragged it to my Desktop, double clicked to open it. The PDF opened fine, but there are highlighted text that when clicked on should open a page to whatever the text is referring to, but they don’t open a page or anything.
Is there something I’m missing?

Two possibilities:

Did you have the CD in the Drive when you were reading the PDF? The PDF may be set up to ref the CD in those links.

The PDF may have relative links, and when off the CD can’t get to the CD to use the links.

If the PDF is in a folder on the CD, Try dragging the entire folder onto your Mac. Then open the PDF and see if it works.

If the PDF is not in a folder on the CD, try dragging the entire contents of the CD into a folder on your Mac, and see if that works.

Hope this helps.
