Noise Reject

My 3 mo old dell laptop is making a funny noise everytime i put a cd in the drive and then it rejects the cd?

Like I said my dell laptop is almost three months old and this is the first time I am putting a cd disk in the drive. Last night I would put the cd in the drive and then it would make this loud kinda buzzing noise and then it would spit the cd out. I have contacted dell on this and they want me to send my laptop to them. I am not trying to do all of this I am going to go back where I got it from and they can fix it. But I want to know what is causing it? Could it be dust, I take very good care of my laptop so I do not understand what it could be, is it defected? can it be fixed?? Can someone with a understanding of computers or an understanding of dell laptop computers shed some light on this situation?? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

It’s more than likely just a defective drive. Dell along many many other manufacturers often times use inferior parts in order to save money. You should also check with the place you bought the laptop from because if they are not a Dell Authorized Repairman then you WILL void your warranty. Places like Best Buy (Geek Squad is DELL authorized). Places like WalMart (ARE NOT). Be sure to check this first before having anyone else touch it.

If you are only interested in having the strongest car, without regard to accuracy, then the audio cables HiFi, probably not for you.
