Is there a way to use an online police scanner to monitor only one frequency at a time?

So i just discovered that you can listen to police scanners online, but most of them will continuously switch frequencies, so you hear one thing happen and once it gets interesting, the scanner switches to another frequency its very annoying, and I don’t wanna buy a physical one.

Unless the operator of the feed sets it up for remote control, which some of the software can do this, it is not possible to listen to just one frequency.

The concept of the online feed is to appeal to a wide audience of the users for the area.

So if your only interested in the one channel then I would suggest getting a used scanner from EBay or on Black Friday.

There just is not an option to limit the online feeds to one channel only unless thats all the person who creates the feed wants to do.
