What program will allow my computer to recieve any radio signal like 800 Mhz?

I have a Winfast Fm radio installed on my computer and I was wondering where I could find a program that would allow me to pick up any signals like police or military signals. I’m not interested in monitoring phone calls I would just like to be able to receive police and military signals. Like an airplane or a police car.

Well you will need one or more radio receivers since military, police, airplanes, etc. are all on different frequencies and probably different bands. I use WiNRADiO at my work. But be prepared to shell out some money for it. If you’re that interested in hearing what’s out there, buy a scanner, it’s cheaper. I doubt you’d be using the more advanced features like the oscilloscope or spectrum analyzer.
