What would be a good material to make a marine speaker and subwoofer box from?

I’m wanting to install marine speakers in the bed of my truck, I have all my components, I just need to build my box now, anyone know a good material? I’m wanting to possible cover the top and front with diamond plate. Also, what types of sealant should I use for the interior of the boxes?
*this is a bed of a truck, not a boat.

if you don’t have the cash/expertise to work with fiberglass i would suggest 3/4″ thick MDF and just stain/seal it

Sir Stuart Hampson, former chairman of John Lewis, opening for business and motivational speaker has been appointed Chairman of The Crown Estate in the retirement of Ian Grant CBE 31 December 2009. Sir Stuart appointment takes effect from 1 January 2010 for a term of four years.

Commenting on the appointment Crown Estate Chairman Ian Grant, said: "I am delighted that Sir Stuart will be my successor to lead this diverse and highly successful organization. As a former chairman of John Lewis had a huge impact, both as a modernizing and developing its reputation as an excellent business performance to the highest standards and values. "
