If I had a masters in Marine Biology could I get a job with NOAA?
I don’t just so you know
Probably, if you are dedicated and enthusiastic, although a PhD. in Biology is strongly recommended if you want a successful career.

The only undersea laboratory in the world is in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. This laboratory is under water more than three miles offshore at a depth of 63 feet. It is attached to a base plate that ensures the lab of about 13 feet above the sea floor. The laboratory is known as Aquarius and is owned by a joint venture between the Administration National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the University of North Carolina.
Scientists live and work inside the habitat that are not studying abroad, in adjacent coral reefs. Input module is through the gallery "wet", which contains an open moon pool, the team Dive storage areas, hot water heater and shower. There are two main compartments in the form of Aquarius. "Blocking entry" no room for computers and experiments, feeding equipment, life support controls, see small ports, and bathroom. The largest living space is the "principal lock ", which is designed for a crew of six people. This area has workstation computer, two ports of view, and facilities of the kitchen. Amenities include a microwave, instant hot water dispenser, refrigerator, sink, dining and work areas. The blockade of the main also contains life support controls, so the main entrance and locks can be independently pressurized.
Since the 1990s Scientists have lived in the lab and explore the depths of the ocean in that missions can be extended to ten days. The laboratory is a depth that requires 17 hours of depressurization for divers who stay for more than a couple of hours. Scientists use a special technique called "diving saturation. "saturation diving refers to a condition involving a diver is underwater for several hours. After this time, blood the diver is saturated with gas. The diver is required equal time for depressurization when he or she approaches the surface.
Use Aquarium, the diver not have to resurface and depressurize for days and can explore underwater. Therefore, the module provides huge time savings for researchers. Scientists living in Aquarius can do the work in the days that require weeks to complete if they had to dive from the surface. Research scientists often remain about 10 days in the form of Aquarius doing research before gradually returning to the surface.
Scientists live in Aquarius, have observed that life in the form is like living in an aquarium. Partners of fish in each hole and the adjacent port of coral reef is a habitat for many varieties of fish. Aquarius is connected with the world above the ocean on a cable attached to the top of a 30-foot buoy on the surface that connects the lab to Key Largo. This connection allows scientists to send an underwater video educational program for each mission via the Internet.
The lab has been home to about 100 of deep underwater missions since the 1990s. The underwater laboratory environment is very similar to the conditions found in the International Space Station. This NASA has provided a place to do research on conditions involving dance steps and test the concepts designed to be used in exploration future space.
During a recent mission, called Mission NASA Extreme Environment Operations (NEEMO), participants practice new long-haul medical technicians to keep space travelers healthy. Doctors thousands of miles away led the astronauts, and performing surgery in a patient simulator. In addition, doctors use virtual reality technology to guide simulated surgery by robots. The simulation procedures of what a day can use to respond to emergencies on the International Space Station, Moon, or in long distance space flights to Mars. Divers also walked on the ocean floor to simulate the lunar surface. This exercise of using high-tech helmets and breathing pesos to improve mobility and balance in terms equivalent to the moon. NASA also has used Aquarius for the astronauts to simulate living on the International Space Station.
Aquarius will remain a center valuable research for NASA's moon and Mars missions in the coming years. In addition, Aquarius provides an important research site for exploring the mysteries of the underwater world of the Earth. In fact, the missions of the involvement of Aquarius laboratory are providing the necessary research and experimentation to conquer the next unexplored frontiers of man under the sea and outer space.
