Can somebody explain phase locked loop PLL and voltage control oscillator VCO in detail?

Circuit with explanation will be appreciated. Thanks

I can’t draw circuits here. What details do you want?

A voltage controlled oscillator is just that- the frequency is determined by the voltage you feed it. Changes in voltage cause a frequency drift, so you want a DC or very low frequency on the input.

A PLL compare the phase of 2 signals. If they aren’t on the same frequency, the output will vary a lot. Typically, the signals are converted to square waves, then drive an exclusive-OR gate. The width of the output pulse varies, as the time between the leading edges of the 2 signals change.

The 3rd step is to amplify AND FILTER the PLL signal, before applying it back to the VCO. This becomes an error correcting feedback signal.
When the system settles, the VCO is at the same frequency as the reference signal- but with a small phase difference. The PLL will detect that, and output a pulse train. When filtered, this creates a DC signal at Just The Right Voltage to keep the VCO stable.

Alternatives to 50mhz customer TELSTRA Loop Measurement (CLM50).

What is the measurement loop customer?

Loop Customer Measurement 50Mhz (CLM50) is a product Telstra PSTN is used to record the calls of the costs of services charged primarily with the industry by hosting guests for calls made from your phone in the room and also in gold payphones.

Loop Customer Measurement sends an electrical impulse in the local telephone line to the customer for each record that is registered by calling the customer – measuring circuits in the central phone. This allows clients to calculate their call charges. As each pulse is measured (and fees) at a fixed rate, simply counting the number of registered impulses provide cost of the call calculable for each call. Third-party software or hardware and end calls allows the owner to dial to record and then recharge costs tone.

Local calls in Australia are generally untimed local calls are recorded for a single pulse load and a higher turnover only of the call. Long distance calls (STD or IDD international calls) are sent at predefined intervals with the time intervals between pulse to be defined by geographical local party receiving calls. A call from Melbourne to Geelong can receive a pulse every 25 seconds while a call from Melbourne to Perth can get a pulse every 10 seconds and are billed accordingly.

How will this affect our Motel? If you currently use that will CLM50 of work this year and you can not charge its customers for their calls. Telstra reported in 2007 that CLM 50 and will not be installed and that the product would be withdrawn completely from 1 June 2009. Telstra has justified the closure of the measurement loop 50Mhz customers services based on technology that is old and problematic. This will affect the ability of many hosting providers charge for calls made using your PABX telephone system and may require replacement Payphone 12MHz gold with compatible models.

What are the alternatives to 50Mhz Measurement CLM50 Loop Customer? Fortunately, There are several options open to users in CLM50. Alternative Telstra's customer loop CLM50 Measurement 12MHz (CLM12). It is all right if your phone system Phone PABX signaling CLM12kHz automatically recognizes his service, just change to CLM12kHz signaling when closed CLM50.

However, If your phone does not support CLM12 you have to update your computer if you decide CLM12 as its alternative. Many hosting providers will not be happy to know that despite the change to industry experts say CLM12 CLM12hz may also have its own set of problems of temperament anyway.

If your system is not compatible PABX CLM50 with your PABX telephone system can be compatible with third Call Accounting Software. You should talk to your PABX and maintainer of this.

When you Ultimately, however, was forced to look for a new PABX telephone system that is compatible with Call Accounting Software or CLM12.

If you decide to buy a new system switchboard, can also be an opportune time to consider converting their 2/10/20/30 ISDN lines services have many advantages of PSTN services standard and even allows you to reduce the number of phone lines it uses. target = "_blank" title = "2 & ISDN ISDN lines 10/20/30 telephone "> For more information on ISDN 2 and ISDN phone lines 10/20/30 click here.
