i got a top of the line sony xplod stereo with two 12″ xplod subs in a Q-logic box with a 1000 watt kenwood

would the amp only use half its capability if its mounted on top of the box witch is pushed face in to the back seat…the amp is like 1/2 in from the trunk! it sounds great then other times it sounds like it aint pushin…

make sure all connectionsare snug so that it’ss always push hard…the placement of the amp shouldn’t matter so much as long as it’s facing upward and has some breathing room maybe placing it like that moves the connections so check em out
