Which GPS maker is better for hand held GPS units Magellan or Garmin?

I’m really into geocaching and I do alot of hiking in North Carolina. Please give your reasons for picking the brand that you picked. If you have a model that you really like please let me know about it too. Thanks alot.

Magellan is fine if you don’t mind loading the waypoints by hand, but if you’re running pocket queries to get several caches along a route, or you want to load every cache within a certain county, a Garmin with a cable is indispensable.

For the model, I prefer Etrex Legend, Vista or Map60 because the maps help me figure out where I am supposed to park to get out and look for the cache. But if you only search for one cache at a time, you can print out a map and take it with you, and then just go out with the cheapest yellow Extrex.
