How is fire more important than other tools for early humans?

I’m doing a debate for school and we are debating witch tool was most important for the Neanderthals and homo sapiens, fire or tools. I know fire is considered a tool but but i need to know how it dominates other early human tools, can anyone help me?

Fire is widely considered to be one of mankind’s greatest discoveries.

Grab a stick and light it on fire. You now created a food source, a weapon, and a communicator; which is needed in a human life. Food source because of heating food. Weapon for hunting, then using fire to heat the food to eat. Then communicator to indicate when to attack the prey, grab the meat, and then heat it for digestion.
