Why does my faceplate on my wall light switch vibrate lightly only in one position?

My indoor switch to my unattached garage lights has a faceplate that vibrates lightly when switched to the “up” position. There is another switch that controls the same lights in the garage outside. The lights to not have to be on for it to vibrate. What is causing this? Is it dangerous? Is it easily fixable?

Most likely the switch is arcing internally, causing the vibration..change the switch.
