Westwood C50D gas wall furnace need parts diagram/manual?

Westwood C50D gas wall furnace bought in 1977 I need a parts diagram/Manual for this unit. I think the thermocouple needs to be replaced. Trying to find a website that deals with old or out of date furnaces.

Is it still efficient? (Age causes a combustion chamber to lose efficiency… you may be wasting fuel with an old unit) It may be time to replace it anyway.

TEMPORARILY Try to bypass or override the thermocouple – either as a (pun not intended) hotwire or by means of an added switch. Do this ONLY to TEST the rest of the unit.

Running this way can cause overheating and FIRE HAZARD! Thermocouples are often used to determine the SHUT OFF temperature! DO NOT RUN ANY HEATER WITHOUT THE PROPER SAFETY INSTRUMENTS IN PLACE.
Please do not try to operate the unit as a human thermocouple – they (humans) don’t work well at this for long… and the old one lasted 30 years longer than a human replacement would!

If the unit otherwise operates as you expect- examine the thermocouple itself– they’re generally made by outside suppliers… and it may be possible to find a model number on that unit.
