Is a six channel amp equivilent to a seperate 2 channel and 4 channel amp?

I have a four channel and two channel amp in my car…the two channel running the subs and the 4 channel running the speakers…If i was to get a 6 channel amp could i replace the two amps with the one without a drop in performance?

You’ll get more power running separate amps…usually. The bass channel is usually only enough to run one decently rated sub (in terms of RMS wattage)
