how do i hookup a Tapco 12 Channel Compact Mixer i already have mic and phantom power but i need help ?

its an unpowered mixer so does that mean i have to buy an amp because i cant afford that right now im only a 16 year old and new to this so if i do need an amp please help me out with some sites with good prices?

If the mixer is underpowered then yes you will need an amp. You could hook the mixer to a powered speaker which has the amp built into the speaker. Many times these are more affordable and easier to manage. Look for powered speakers at http://www.americanmusical.com/

You will hook the mic into the mixer then the mixer into the amp then the amp to the speakers.

The CD available on the market since the eighties remains the standard for commercial audio recordings even though new media are developing. The audio CDs used are officially called Compact Disc Digital Audio or simply CD-DA, as we all love abbreviations.

The format software of their CDs is described as a sixteen bit two-channel PCM coding at a rate of 44.1 kilos of Hertz sampling per channel.

The rate of accurate sampling of some forty four kilos of Hertz actually inherited from a basic method of converting digital audio into analog video signal to storage in U-Matic tape, which was the most affordable way to transfer data at the time the CD specification was being prepared for use in music recording.

But before they are used CDs, used a different medium for recording audio. I know people less and less, but remember cassettes that were popular before the compact disc entered the market. Cassette be a French word meaning little box. It was actually the most common format used for music from the seventies and nineties, especially as soon as portable pocket recorders and hi-fi players were introduced to the market. But, although the tapes were very durable, players need much attention and care to work properly.

Curiously, sales of vinyl records kept high for a long time before cassettes took the singles market.

The compact cassette tape is also called simply a magnetic tape, which was originally used for dictation, not music recording. All tapes included a write protection mechanism to prevent re-recording and erasing accidental.

It was an impressive step forward at the time of its launch and was much better than the first half developed.

Cassettes audio were brought to market by Philips in Europe and the United States in the early sixties with the aim of audio storage, with mass production of the tapes starting as soon as it is a thousand novecientos sixty-four.

Compact cassette duplication, replication and packaging use today was used as CDs and DVDs for packaging of DVD, CD duplication or replication. But obviously, CDs and DVDs can store much more data or music compact cassettes.

However, in many markets in Western countries, sales of cassettes declined sharply in the early nineties due to the success achieved by compact discs.
