Is it hard to add the iPod cable to the Kenwood DNX5120?

I just had the stereo installed and now I have to go back to get the iPod cable installed. The cable installation requires getting to the back of the unit to access some 1/8″ jacks, the installation house said it would take at least an hour. Is this for real? I have an Infiniti G35.

yeah thats bout right. you get those HU’s out by just wedging a special tool down the crack to suppress some little hooklike things then it just slides out. but then you would have to run the ipod cable behind the dash to get to the glove box (where most ppl run the ipod cable to)
