How do i leave band mode on my police scanner?

I have a Uniden BC350A and I want to search freely through all the channels again. I want to get to the 380’s but in the bands mode, none of the 200-300 range is reachable. How do i get out of band mode? Its really frustrating me
thanks I’ve been reading the manual but it says i can exit the band mode by going to program mode and then pressing the band button again. but when i do this, it’s still stuck in the band mode.
