does anyone know of any websites to find interesting facts about the band The Police? i googled it but nothing really came up.

I was at a Police concert in Denver many moons ago. They were one of the better bands from the 80’s.

If you attend any concert in the 1980s, it probably had the opportunity to secure tickets for the Police. Police were a band it was simply iconic during that time period, and some of their singles and albums were among the best selling releases of all time. After many years of participating in individual efforts, this legendary band is back together for another upcoming tour, thrilling millions of his old followers, in all parties. A look at its history will help explain how it reached a state that few have experienced acts.

The Beginning

The band began meeting in 1977, when drummer Stewart Copeland left his former band and joined Sting to start working on some songs. Each of them shared a strong influence the world of reggae, and this shared vision, led many of the tones and rhythms in their tracks next.

After bouncing a few years, the band finally began to gain fame to go Australia, which was the first country in which he won a loyal audience. In 2007, the police will meet again for another tour. This visit he met with a high degree of anticipation, and the mere fact that tickets for Police are available once more, is sure to fill stadiums around the world.
