What is an Axial-Lead Electrolytic Capacitor?
thank you, but what does it do, how does it work?
again, thank you, but what would I do with this? know that they are used in stereos, but how would it effect it?
Some capacitors are circular, or oval, with both leads sticking out of the bottom. An axial lead cap is one that is tubular, or cylindrical, with a lead going in one end coming out the other end, or all on one axial plane. Electrolytics are typically axial leads.
There is hope for postpartum depression: Bodytalk!
Sara is a happy mother with a new baby. She was able to have a natural birth at home with a midwife attends. Without anesthesia dulling her experience, fully able to bond with his daughter immediately. She recovered quickly from birth, and was able to revel in their precious addition to the family. His first delivery was a different story, however. She had been induced labor with drugs by his doctor. The work has been long and arduous, and had lost much blood.
She was tired from a long time. But the worst was that he was unhappy with being a mother. It took a year before that could really tell he loved his new baby. She never told anyone how he felt, however, she only felt like a bad mother. It dema-up she had a healthy birth that she realized she could love your baby immediately. Then we could talk about their experience with their first infant.
Many mothers feel inexplicably "down" after birth. This feeling can manifest as lethargy, mild depression, or even feel that his life is ruined – or worse. Postpartum depression (PPD) affects many mothers in varying degrees, but is much lower than real for many physicians because there is little known in allopathic medicine. Too often, it is "treated" with the discourse of "PEP". But a mother who is suffering from PPD is very real: Symptoms can range from annoying to feel guilty for not strong enough to be the mother who wants to be in cases of mild to severe depression, including suicidal thoughts, disturbing dreams, and even thoughts of harming or killing their newborn babies in the most serious cases.
My training and experience in acupuncture and osteopathic medicine has led me to understand that she has PPD and trying to understand the causes. In most cases, the PDP is strongly linked to a stressful birth. Full address of the PDP, you should start with proper prenatal care designed to prepare the mother for a healthy work, fast. And then continue with the therapy that can effectively help the mother to recover from labor and delivery process.
One difference between Saras first birth experience and the PPD and the subsequent elevation recent childbirth is that she came to me while she was pregnant. His first visit was after seven months. I was experiencing back pain, fever surges, sweats night and was showing some signs of gestational diabetes. After a session of use of the BodyTalk System (TM) of all his symptoms disappeared and she was sleeping peacefully at night.
A BodyTalk session tracking two weeks before delivery addressed the mobility of the joints of the pelvis and as the timing and balance of the blood and nerve supply to the muscles of the uterus. Sara reported that her experience of contractions was different from his first delivery. It was described as very productive, efficient movement of the baby in position to end stage labor and cervical dilation effect. The whole work was about three hours from start to finish.
Saras most recent birth is, of course, an example of the best goal in the treatment of PPD: take steps to maximize chances of a healthy birth process and thus avoiding the need for postnatal treatment with PPD. But even in the best and the preparation, may occur complications resulting in an inability of the mother to recover quickly from birth. Fortunately, prenatal care in the post-effective available to deal to PPD in these cases.
I have found in my practice that the best way to address prenatal and postnatal care is through the BodyTalk System (TM). BodyTalk is a system of health care based on the observation that the body system is a complex interaction of parts and functions that must work together to produce health. With In order to work together, all body parts must be in communication with others. BodyTalk focuses on restoring communication in the body-mind through contacts of technical finesse and a soft touch.
This is gentle, noninvasive, safe and yet extremely effective. Communicating links that are needed to restore the health of a particular client are discovered along the body's innate wisdom customers with a complete protocol Question and neuromuscular biofeedback in the form of light muscle testing. In my practice, which have virtually stopped using acupuncture and manipulation therapies, and yet my results are faster and longer lasting in all types of cases of musculo-skeletal issues of internal medicine disorders thought to be more psychological in nature.
Before you can discuss how it applies to BodyTalk PPD, I briefly present some key causes of PPD. Although there may be many causes, I will focus only on two main factors that account for a large number of PPD and outside help to illustrate that is possible and how BodyTalk can be applied. The two main causes of PPD that I see in my practice is the deficiency in the blood and distorted or postings on the craniosacral system. Blood deficiency is a major cause of depression in traditional Chinese medicine. This term is broader than the Western concept of anemia. Includes anemia, but also covers the shortcomings of the components of blood and other nutrients as well as poor blood volume. Osteopathic Research has developed a very strong correlation between compression and fixing or several key joints in the axial spine and depression.
Any deficiency in the blood is expected, even after a healthy birth, but difficult or prolonged labor often lead to serious depletion. Symptoms of blood deficiency include weakness, fatigue, lethargy, low immune function, general weakness, lack of motivation and / or depression, visual disturbances, including hallucinations, sleeplessness and many sometimes disturbing dreams of a violent nature.
Obviously, if a mother is suffering from even just some of the above symptoms take care of a newborn is going to seem more overwhelming and burdensome than joy. Factors contributing to the deficiency of the blood are a poor balance of electrolytes in blood and other the factors controlling the amount of water in the body stays in the blood vessels rather than in the tissues. The digestive system's ability to work efficiently to digest food and assimilate nutrients is obviously an important factor in the ability to rebuild the blood and therefore the force. And the endocrine system's inability to properly adjust to the changing needs of a nursing mother after the swing-wing hormone during pregnancy is another important factor.
All these causes of inadequate blood are the types of issues that BodyTalk works well with: to help restore communication within the body to restore resilience and recovery. And Best of all professional BodyTalk not be able to diagnose which of the synchronization issues are relevant in order to offer help: You can only ask the innate wisdom of the body using the BodyTalk protocol. For example, the first day of training covers a procedure BodyTalk dealing with balancing the distribution of water in the body by combining a number of hand contacts on different areas of the brain with gentle tapping to stimulate the nervous system to address all aspects of this complex and delicate balance.
At birth, a womans pelvis go through dramatic enough distortion to allow passage the baby through the birth canal. During pregnancy a hormone is produced that relax ligaments connecting the pubic bones in front and joints between the sacrum and hip bones on the back. This allows the pubic bone to separate and also allows the sacrum to lean back and away. This allows significant expansion of the space available for passage babys.
Ideally, the return of the bones to their natural position within a few days after birth. Doesnot When this happens, the resulting distortion of the pelvis causing compression of the lumbosacral joint and produces too much curvature in the lower back, producing back pain. The stress of living with back pain (which was supposed to disappear once the baby was born!) Is quite difficult. Osteopathic Research has also shown that compression of the lumbosacral joint often leads to depression.
Unfortunately, the effects of distortion of the pelvis not limited to back pain. There is a complex reflection of movement between the bones of the pelvis and certain bones in the skull. This correspondence is part of both movements natural breathing, as well as the symphony of the upper body and lower coordinated movements of the body that occur when we walk. Thus, when the ability of the pelvic bones to maintain proper alignment and flexibility is compromised, this will result in restrictions in the cranial bones.
The Symptoms of the skull resulting Restrictions include restricted breathing, vitality, headaches, sinusitis, visual disturbances, ATM, poor digestion, the poor capacity of the hypothalamus to the acidity in the digestive tract, endocrine regulation poor, mental confusion, and depression. Thus we're going to imagine what that means: back still hurts it hurts to pick up and carry her baby. Digestion IsNot very good, have headaches, hormonal changes feels all the time, tired all the time, and you think clearly Canot. And your baby still needs you 24 / 7. I'm depressed just thinking about it.
The good news is that BodyTalk is excellent at addressing just these kinds of distortions in musculoskeletal disorders. Understanding the importance of these interrelationship between various body parts must be coordinated to allow smooth breathing and muscle balance in posture and walking is very strongly integrated into the BodyTalk system. As an example, last week there was a woman who refers to me, that was 7 weeks pregnant.
This was to be his second son. It turned out that in the sacrum had beaten back every time from the first birth six years ago. He had back pain all the time, his breathing was restricted, had a lot of sinus problems and had ulcers in the stomach. While she was lying face up on my treatment table that can slide hand completely under his lower back due to the exaggerated arch in your lumbar spine. During his session, BodyTalk restrictions addressed in the sacrum, restrictions A key of the whole skull, and the balance of relations between the main bones of the pelvis and skull.
At the end of the session, his back was on the table, back pain was gone, his breathing had dramatically freed, and her stomach pain was almost gone. Needless to say I was very happy with the changes after six years of living with these issues. Ideally, these problems could have been treated immediately after their first birth, but better late than never, and she is definitely a better place for a healthy pregnancy with her second child.
There are other factors that may affect the PPD, of course. But I hope this short article has presented this case that are understandable and treatable causes. And this aid can be quick and gentle when the treatment of choice is BodyTalk. Having a baby should be a magical experience. I deal with a wide range of health issues in my practice, and yet it's hard to think of any branch of my practice that is as rewarding as my work with mothers in prenatal and postnatal care. Except, of course, work with babies.
