How can I get more DTV Cable channels with the Homemade Antenna I made?

I recently made an HD antenna that will supposedly increase the signal on my HDTV. Well I tried it with over the air to see how it worked and I was amazed at the results, the antenna got me 6 more bars(my Samsung tv shows signal using signal bars) than the one that I got from the store for $10. Is there a way to make this antenna work with DTV cable channels instead of Over The Air?

If I understand your question right as “can you get cable channels with an antenna” and not from a cable TV provider?

No.

If you mean “more Digital TV channels” over the air. Get a better antenna. A roof top store bought, with rotor, preamp and coxial wire from the antenna to your TV.
