Guitar amplifier modification?

Hi I currently own a basic 10 watt electric guitar amp, the kind that normally come with starter guitar packages, it features an input and headphone output, built in overdrive/distortion via an overdrive switch and gain knob, master volume, trable, mid and bass. does anyone have any ideas for a simple mod to it? is it possible to change the transistiors for tubes? other built in effects mods? new speaker?

no you cant swap transistors for tubes..you can replace the speaker cone but i can honestly say that it would be false economy.. myself , i bought an `RP50′- GUITAR Processor to gain any type of sound possible and put it in line with my amp. I HAVE NEVER LOOKED BACK &they are now very cheap and often appear on ebat etc…

look into it , do a search for RP50 or Rp80 etc
