What is the difference between a kicker amp and a bass sub system?

I want to put a new speaker system in my car….first off i need to know these things

1)Kicker is a brand. An amp does exactly what it says (amplifies), it makes your music louder. 2)If you are getting the amp to specifically run a subwoofer then yes. If you want bass in your car then it is best to run a amp to a subwoofer.If you just want to make it louder in your ride then just hook up your amp to the inside speakers only.3)If you get a bassing sub then get an amp for it accordingly (kicker is a great brand).4)Yes, wires have to be run from the amp to the door speakers.The way it works is you run a power wire (12 volt ), a ground wire, remote wire to the amp, and rca jacks if your stereo has them and if not you have to get a converter(sends signal to amp from stereo to let it know what it is playing), and then run speaker wire from the amp to the speakers.

Zkicker just bought the 500 and have had for a week. It is an amazing product. The sound is very clear and crisp, better than anything I have. Do not worry about turning this one. In the volume level 16/40 It shakes the photos on my wall. Even higher volume that no distortion. Bass is clean, put out out a large amount of bass. Not as much as the 15 "sub in your car, but enough. I've never seen a boombox so small that puts out this much sound. It has + -9 on the base and treble to make it do whatever you want with your music. The remote control fully control the Zune with great precision. It connects to your entertainment system through componant video. Showing great movies and adds to your sound system. When I see films that connect it to obtain a wider range of sound. I recommend this product. I would recommend this product, even if you have a Zune, has auxiliary input for any audio device. It's worth every penny!

The iM414 is a great attribute to my Zune. The sound is amazing for such a small item and cheap. It is very easy to use. I love the fact that my radio plugs into the iM414 Satallite, eliminating the need to use a stereo amplifier to enjoy the radio in my house. It is also extrememly portable for use with the Zune. (The radius Satallite need an antenna that moves with it.)

After looking everywhere a docking station for the new Zunes that just bought my two girls for Christmas, I finally found it through Amazon (everything is for I-Pods … oyyyy).
