How many fixed-wing aircraft does the Marine have?

How many aircraft does the Marine have in total?
I couldnt find this information on the web….

This is classified information. If the USMC does not want the Chinese and the Russians to know, why would they tell you?

The main difference is in the life of "style" of a Marine and a sailor. All Marines are considered combat riflemen first, and any work they have seconds. Generally, Marines have to meet a higher physical condition and level of discipline than any of the other services.

The program flight training is very similar. In fact, the Marine and Navy pilots go through the same flight training program (for the most part).

Active duty commitment is real. It costs almost a million dollars to train a military pilot or navigator, and the military services want to ensure they get value for their money (and not just training someone for the work of an airline pilot).

The commitment of active duty (ADSC) for Navy pilots Marine Corps and is 8 years (after graduation from flight training). The ADSC for Navy and Marine Corps nfos (after training) is 6 years (after completion of training and designation as NFO).

The ADSC for Air Force pilots is 10 years, after completion flight training, and 8 years for navigators (following training).

The Navy and the Marine Corps does not have a "Palace Chase program, and – just for information, the Air Force rarely (if ever) allows pilots and navigators, who are in their initial service period of active obligation to participate in the "Palace Chase".

As I said, the flight training is expensive, and the services you want to get value for money. I spent several years as the first sergeant of the Air Force flight squadrons different, and I never (not once, not once) saw a pilot or navigator on his first serve tax assets approved for a Chase "Palace" or "Palace" Front of separation from active duty. Not once. Not even close (unless they were disqualified flight for reasons such as doctors).

In the Navy F-18 (or any other aircraft), the pilot called "Navy Pilot". In an airplane two-seater, the other officer (who navigates and operates the weapon systems) is called the "NFO" (Navy Flight Officer). As a group, both are referred to as "crews".

Any military member on board the aircraft (any kind) that is flying in the airplane with a work to do on board that aircraft, as part of the crew of an aircraft is a "member of the crew." That means that in two seat aircraft like the F/A-18, both the pilot and NFO is known as "crews".

Ignition other types of aircraft, there would be only two crew members. For example, the EC3 "Hawkeye" carries a crew of five. All of them (pilot, copilot, NFO, enlisted technicians) are "crews" on the aircraft.

With the Marine Corps when you join they will give you a chose of 3 mos to choose from, but you can only choose one of three no matter if you do not like any of them. I am afraid that is how the Marine Corps enlisted job choices. If ever that there website or call someone from that group and ask questions.

But it simply is not going to be a pilot for the Marines unless (1) get a college degree (2) get commissioned (OCS or PLC), and (3) pass the flight aptitude tests and flight physics. About one in five candidates makes it through the selection process.
